Hey diva!

Hello! My name is Rachel Grodek, and I’m a singer, actor, and dancer—born and raised at the Jersey Shore- no, not where the reality tv show was. I’m currently living in South Jersey, and I’m based in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City. I graduated from Rowan University (May 2025) with a BA in Theatre Arts and a Dance minor, and I’m so excited to continue sharing stories that connect and inspire.  I've been passionate about performing and storytelling for as long as I can remember. Forcing my parents to sit and listen to me sing Disney songs as a kid had to have meant something.

Through my time at Rowan, I’ve not only grown as a performer but also discovered a deep love for directing and choreographing. Being able to shape a production from a different perspective has been an exciting challenge, and it has helped me grow into a well-rounded artist who can take on multiple roles in the theatre. I love collaborating with others to bring a vision to life and create work that is meaningful, inclusive, and engaging.

I'm passionate about advocating for inclusivity and body positivity in the arts. I truly believe there’s no one way a performer should look, and that talent, heart, and dedication are what matter most. I hope to be part of a movement that celebrates performers of all body types, making space for everyone to shine onstage.

A big part of why I advocate for visibility and inclusion is because of my older sister Rosie. Growing up, Rosie—who has special needs—never had the chance to perform alongside me. She’s my greatest inspiration, and she motivates me every day to help create opportunities where everyone, no matter their ability, can be part of the magic of theatre and dance.
